At RiseUP, our events are designed to spark connection, share insight, and build community around the mission of serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Our signature Fireside Forums are warm, engaging online conversations with experts who light the way on topics that matter to caregivers, case managers, and professionals in the IDD field. In addition to these forums, we host community-centered gatherings that promote awareness, foster inclusion, and invite others to support our work through service, sponsorship, and celebration.

As Medicaid structures continue to shift and funding becomes increasingly uncertain, organizations like RiseUP face a critical challenge: how do we maintain the quality, safety, and dignity of care our participants deserve when essential infrastructure is no longer fully supported?

Connection is not just beneficial—it is essential for growth, confidence, and overall well-being. For adults with disabilities, consistent opportunities for interaction play a critical role in daily life.
If you are considering visiting RiseUP or participating in one of our programs, it’s important to understand both the environment and the expectations that help keep everyone safe, supported, and respected. RiseUP is designed to be welcoming and engaging—but also structured, intentional, and guided by clear safety practices.

There is a difference between understanding what an organization does and experiencing how it feels. RiseUP is a place where that distinction becomes immediately clear.
