Adult Residential Programs at RiseUP

A home that fits your life, your needs, and your goals.

At RiseUP, we believe every adult deserves a home that feels safe, supportive, and truly their own. Our Adult Residential Programs are designed to meet people where they are—whether that means living independently with support or finding a welcoming host home that feels like family.

Two Ways to Live and Thrive

  1.  Host Home Program

Some adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) need a more structured and family-like setting to live in. Our Host Home Program matches adults with compassionate, trained caregivers across Colorado who open their homes and hearts. Each home is designed to support independence, dignity, and connection while ensuring safety and stability. Host Home Providers work closely with our team to help each individual build confidence, practice life skills, and live as part of a family and community.

  2.  Independent Living (Personal Care Alternative)

For adults ready to live on their own, our Personal Care Alternative (PCA) program offers the right balance of freedom and support. Individuals live in their own apartment or home while receiving customized assistance from RiseUP staff. This can include help with budgeting, cooking, appointments, or transportation—whatever is needed to stay healthy, confident, and independent. Support levels are flexible and tailored to each person’s goals, whether that means daily visits or occasional check-ins.

More Than a Place to Live

No matter which program fits best, RiseUP’s focus is always the same: empowering adults to live meaningful, connected, and independent lives. We work closely with families, guardians, and other care providers to ensure that every person receives the support, respect, and opportunity they deserve.
