Something amazing is happening at RiseUP — we’ve officially broken ground on our brand-new basketball courts!
This milestone marks the start of an exciting new chapter for our Colorado Springs community. After months of planning, fundraising, and teamwork, we’ve reached our goal — and construction is about to begin!
A Dream Fueled by Community Support
The vision for our new basketball courts has always been about more than just sports. It’s about building a space where everyone — students, families, and neighbors — can come together, connect, and celebrate inclusion through play.
We’re thrilled to share that, thanks to the incredible generosity of our partners and supporters, that dream is now becoming a reality.

The groundbreaking event was filled with energy, gratitude, and anticipation. Seeing our students, staff, families, and community members come together to celebrate this milestone was a true reflection of what RiseUP stands for — connection, inclusion, and shared progress.
Now, as construction begins, we’re excited to watch this dream take shape. Soon, the sound of bouncing basketballs and laughter will fill the air, and we’ll have a new space that reflects the heart of our mission: empowerment through community.
