Hawesome Technologies and RiseUP: Technology, Community, and a Higher Tomorrow

Building a stronger community takes more than one organization, one program, or one person. It happens when local businesses, nonprofits, families, advocates, and community members recognize that their individual strengths can contribute to something bigger.

That is why RiseUP is proud to recognize Hawesome Technologies as a sponsor of the 2026 RiseUP Elevation Challenge.

Based in Colorado Springs and serving organizations throughout Southern Colorado, Hawesome Technologies helps businesses strengthen the technology behind their day-to-day operations. Their services include managed IT support, strategic technology planning, hardware solutions, help desk support, and technology services designed to help organizations operate more effectively and confidently.

Their support of the RiseUP Elevation Challenge represents something equally important: the impact local businesses can make when they invest in the communities around them.

A Colorado Springs Technology Company Investing in Community

Technology touches nearly every aspect of how modern organizations operate. Reliable systems, responsive support, cybersecurity, hardware, networking, and long-term technology planning can all play an important role in helping businesses remain productive and prepared for growth.

Through its managed IT services, Hawesome Technologies works with businesses throughout Southern Colorado to provide proactive technology support and solutions tailored to organizational needs.

But community impact does not have to stop at the services a company provides to its customers.

By sponsoring the RiseUP Elevation Challenge, Hawesome Technologies is also helping support a broader community initiative focused on inclusion, connection, awareness, and opportunity throughout Colorado.

For RiseUP, relationships with locally invested businesses are an important part of building stronger communities. When companies choose to support nonprofit initiatives, they help extend awareness beyond traditional nonprofit audiences and introduce more people to the causes, services, and individuals behind the mission.

Why Sponsorship Matters to the RiseUP Elevation Challenge

The RiseUP Elevation Challenge invites individuals and teams to spend September working toward 5,000 feet of elevation or 15 miles of distance while raising awareness and support for organizations making a difference across Colorado.

Participants can walk, hike, run, climb, stroll, or roll their way toward their goal.

But the Challenge was never intended to be only about reaching a number.

At its heart, it is about encouraging people to move with purpose and creating new opportunities for Colorado communities to learn about the organizations working every day to help people thrive.

RiseUP supports children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and neurodiversity through a range of programs and services in Colorado.

Those services include adult day programs, residential supports, family caregiver services, supported employment, children’s services, and educational programming designed around the needs and goals of each individual.

With services in both Colorado Springs and Denver, RiseUP works to build communities where people of all abilities have opportunities to participate, contribute, build relationships, develop skills, and pursue greater independence.

Supporting Inclusion Across Colorado

A technology company and an organization serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities may operate in very different fields, but that is exactly what makes community partnerships so valuable.

Building an inclusive Colorado requires participation from many different sectors.

Businesses bring expertise, resources, professional networks, visibility, and community connections. Nonprofits bring specialized services, advocacy, programs, and firsthand understanding of the communities they serve.

When those strengths come together, the reach of a mission can grow.

For RiseUP, inclusion means creating meaningful opportunities for people to be part of their communities in ways that reflect their individual interests, strengths, goals, and support needs.

Through RiseUP’s Adult Programs, individuals can access services designed to support community participation, residential living, family caregiving, and greater independence.

RiseUP’s Supported Employment program also helps individuals explore employment opportunities and develop the skills and support needed to participate in the workforce.

These programs are part of a larger commitment to ensuring that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and neurodiversity are not simply present in their communities, but have meaningful opportunities to belong, contribute, grow, and be recognized for what they bring to the world around them.

Local Businesses Can Help Move a Mission Forward

Corporate and community sponsorship can create impact in ways that extend beyond a financial contribution.

When a local business supports a nonprofit campaign, it can help:

  • Introduce the mission to new audiences
  • Increase awareness of services available to Colorado families
  • Encourage employees and community members to get involved
  • Strengthen connections between businesses and nonprofits
  • Create new conversations about disability inclusion and neurodiversity
  • Expand the network of people advocating for stronger, more inclusive communities

That ripple effect matters.

The more people who understand the challenges families face, the services available to them, and the role each of us can play in creating inclusive communities, the stronger those communities can become.

Thank You, Hawesome Technologies

The RiseUP Elevation Challenge is ultimately about people choosing to move toward something greater — for themselves, for their community, and for the people around them.

That same idea applies to sponsorship.

When local companies decide that community involvement and inclusion matter, they help strengthen the ecosystem surrounding organizations doing this work every day.

RiseUP is grateful to Hawesome Technologies for sponsoring the 2026 RiseUP Elevation Challenge and for choosing to support an initiative designed to bring people together around movement, community, inclusion, and impact.
