Roundup Fellowship has a continuum of care for adults who have a developmental disability. We have three residential programs in Denver, Colorado..

Evans House

The people who live in this home have extensive medical needs or a disability requiring total care.  The goal of this program is to create a setting which is as normal and homelike as possible while maintaining personal dignity.  Our staff members are trained to increase the quality of life for those in their care while focusing on the client's physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.  We have a culture of respect and believe community interaction and personal accomplishment is important.  We focus on a person's ability, not their disability.

Services Include:

• Medication administration

• G-tube feeding (if needed)

• Physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapy

• Nursing consultation

• Individualized treatment goals

• Sensory stimulation

• 24-hour awake supervision

Quivas Apartments

This program allows men with challenging behaviors the opportunity to live in an apartment while receiving 24-hour support from staff members.  It is our belief that challenging behaviors can be influenced through the use of supportive teaching and positive behavioral techniques.  One of our goals is to reduce the use of medication by increasing a person's skills, influencing the environment, and adapting staff approaches.  Another goal is to mainstream these men in as many areas as possible while helping them to fully develop their potential to be self-reliant.

We serve:

• Men who have a developmental disability including autism and Asbergers Syndrome.

• Men requiring cognitive and skill training.

• Men who need behavior management training.

• Men with a co-existing mental health diagnosis.

Personal Care Alternative Program

This highly individualized program helps a person with a developmental disability live in his or her own home. Staff members are available for daily, weekly, or monthly support while providing training in daily living skills, money management, meal preparation, and community and safety skills. The goal of this program is to offer the client support so that he or she can have a quality life style in a typical neighborhood setting, taking advantage of what the community has to offer.

What we do:

• Teach daily living and domestic skills in a person's own home.

• Provide follow-along support for money management and medical appointments.

• Provide 24 hour a day phone support.

• Advocate with day programs and other service providers.

• Participate in recreation and leisure skill development.

• Follow through on Individual Service and Support Plan goals.
