Roundup Fellowship is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit agency that was incorporated in 1973. We rely on the generosity of our community and people who are interested in supporting people with developmental disabilities.
We serve approximately 120 clients who have developmental disabilities. Our clients range in age from infancy to seniors. Given this diversity, we are in need of a variety of services and supports.
Purchase Elitches tickets for one time use anytime in May: Roundup is participating in the Coasters for Caring fundraiser in cooperation with Elitch Gardens in Denver. You can buy a ticket from Roundup for $19.99, this is $20 off the regular price of admission. Roundup gets to keep $5 of every ticket we sell. Use your ticket any open day in May. You also get a $2 food voucher for use at the park. You also get a voucher for a return trip to the park in September for $15.00. Make a Pledge towards our School Kitchen:
Roundup is currently accepting pledges for the construction of a Training Kitchen in the new Roundup School. Clients could focus on skills they need for transitioning into the community as young adults. Our new location is at 2121 S. LaSalle St in Colorado Springs. Our goal is to raise a good portion of the funds needed to convert an area into a training kitchen for the students. You can make a one time gift or make a pledge towards the Training Kitchen. Volunteer:
We appreciate and support our volunteers. We value one time activities, such as a work day or sponsoring a specific event, as well as ongoing participation. We are flexible in accommodating your schedule, interests, and needs.
Currently we need volunteers to:
- mentor a child
- become a friend to an adult who has a developmental disability
- cut hair for our clients
- network with friends and family to help with our Donation Wish List (see below)

- Gift Certificate to local restaurants
- Used sewing machine for one of our residents who wants to learn to sew
- Used PS2 game system for our Colorado Springs home
- Tickets to local Sporting events or other events
- Monetary donations of any size

Mentor Program:
Many of our clients have been abused or neglected. They have low self esteem and poor self worth. Many of our clients have no families, and their only interactions are with paid staff members. Ou
r clients often feel isolated, different, and left out. Our mentor program pairs a volunteer with one of our children or adults who needs a friend. After an application and interview process, each volunteer receives training, supervision, and support as this special friendship develops.
A mentor is:
- a person over the age of 16.
- a person who can make a commitment of an hour a week for at least one year.
- a person who wants to have fun, be a role model, and make a difference in the life of another.

Vehicle Donation:
If you have an automobile you no longer need, consider donating it to us. We use automobiles to transport clients to community events, to visit friends, and to participate in jobs. Sometimes we are able to sell an automobile and use the money to enrich the lives of our clients. You will receive a receipt for tax donation purposes, and we will pay for the tow.
