Host Home Providers

Denver and Colorado Springs

Want to work from home?  Have a passion for helping others? Become a Host Home Provider for adults with Intellectual and/or Development Disabilities!

What is a Host Home?

A Host Home is a residential program model that provides adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) a safe and stable home environment where they can gain independence and empowerment in their lives and where they are welcomed as a member of the family.

RoundUp Fellowship Host Homes are person-centered and foster a culture that supports self-sufficiency, diversity, and individual choice.

What is the Role of a Host Home Provider?

RoundUp welcomes people, over 18 years of age, from all walks of life with a passion for serving people with I/DD as a caregiver and friend.  Host Home Providers can be female or male, single, married, couples or families.

Host Home Providers are compassionate, patient, dedicated and believe there is no limit to what any person can accomplish. They understand and believe that every person, regardless of disability or challenge, has the same rights and opportunities as every person and will assist in every way needed to ensure that those goals are achieved. Besides offering consistent emotional support, Host Homes Providers:

  • Care for and are responsible for the individual
  • Assist with or provide reminders regarding personal hygiene and other activities of daily living
  • Provide transportation or assist with public transportation
  • Enjoys being in the community with the client participating in fun activities.
  • Schedule and attend appointments as needed
  • Maintain medical records and administer or monitor medications

Our clients have a wide variety of needs.  Some clients have significant medical or behavioral challenges.  Some may need assistance with mobility, bathing, or toileting.  Some clients are very independent and may have few needs.  Training is provided to meet each client’s level of need.

How are Host Home Providers Compensated?

Compensation varies depending on the level of support the person served needs.  Each month Host Home Providers receive monthly payments for services provided the previous month and includes payment for all services rendered by the Host Home Provider such as:
